Woodrow F. Ludolph

STREATOR -- Woodrow "Woody" F. Ludolph, 78, of 610 N. Otter Creek, Streator, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 1991, at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator, after a short illness.

He lived most of his life in the Streator area and was employed for 38 years by Owens Illinois Glass Co., Streator, retiring in 1973. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Merchant Marines. He was a member of Streator Moose Lodge and Eagles. He was born in Freeport on July 30, 1912, son of Karl and Florence (Risshel) Ludolph. He married Mary Jane Anderson on Oct. 17, 1936, at Freeport.

Surviving are his wife; four brothers, Karl and Robert, both of Freeport, Kenneth of Rockford and Fritz of Hurst, Texas; one niece; and seven nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers in infancy.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Winterrowd Funeral Home and burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, both at Streator. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the Moose Lodge will conduct a service at 6 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
