Passes Away
Early This Morning; Funeral Services on Thursday
Mrs. Sarah
Rebecca Eisenhower, widow of the late John F. Eisenhower, passed away at her home; 310 South Walnut avenue this morning following a several week's illness.
Funeral services will be co
nducted from the late home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Weinbrenner of Kent and Rev. Mr. Collins of Cedarville will conduct the services. Interment will be in the family lot at the Cedarville cemetery.
Sarah Rebecca Confer was born
in Center County, PA., on October 18, 1850. She was united in marriage to John F. Eisenhower and they moved to Illinois in 1881. The husband passed away on September 4, 1927. One child also preceded her in death.
The following children Survive
; Mrs. Saoma Kniss, William, Mary and John Eisenhower all of Freeport; Mrs. H. W. Long, Mrs. J.H. Smull, Beloit. One sister, Mrs. Mary S. Adams, resides at Sansbury, Pa. There are also twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was a member of the Methodist church at Cedarville.
